A beautiful evening paddle with Daniel Longboat Shortboat. I love those relaxing paddles that include some paddling, and a few stops to cool off with some rolling. Mix it up. I was happy to see Daniel’s tuilik and dry pants working out so well.

Wet Exit With Tuilik

I prefer rolling but I felt I had to try it. I hear a lot of people saying that you are in trouble if you come out of your kayak while wearing a tuilik. Because the Comfort Paddling tuilik has an extry tunnel on the inside, you don’t have the problem of it filling up with water.

Pautik Camp 2012

I now wish I had taken more video footage to make the movie more representative of the event. What can I say, I took a lot of video of my son paddling Gerhardt’s first creation.

The Pautik camp was a great success. A lot of people with many more kayaks, teaching and learning new skills. Some paddling, a lot of upside down time, and some good conversation with friends. And a young one challenging himself on a tippy kayak way too big for him, using a paddle that is so heavy he can barely lift it. He loves it.

I was happy to see so many Comfort Paddling Tuiliks out there
